Don
Thompson - President
Known
primarily as a playwright, Don Thompson has more recently made his
mark as a filmmaker and producer. Don gained national recognition
in the 1980's and 90's for his plays TIBET DOES NOT EXIST and L.A.
BOOK OF THE DEAD. His first feature film, CLOUDS, was completed in
1999, and during its successful festival tour received awards and
special recognition from 6 U.S. and International Film Festivals.
CLOUDS garnered a theatrical distribution deal with IN Pictures in
2000 and is currently available on video and DVD.
Along with partner Diana Takata and entrepreneur Dr. E. Ted Prince,
Don co-founded nextPix in 2000 with the goal of creating both a
production company and internet presence that serves the media/film
community. Now in its 6th year, nextPix has produced, co-produced
and/or provided finishing funds to numerous narrative and documentary
feature films. nextPix also provides web resources to filmmakers
through its sister website SolPix.

Takata - Vice President
Diana
Takata has a diverse background of 15 years in business operations
ranging from strategic planning, marketing, sales and IT business
and systems consulting. She served on re-engineering initiatives
for financial, insurance, pharmaceutical, and technology companies
including IBM, JP Morgan, Pfizer, and TIAA-CREF. She was also Executive
Director of an international non-profit organization and served
as Co-Producer of TIBET DOES NOT EXIST.
Diana
has forged numerous high-profile contacts through her work in human
rights, theater and entertainment. Diana received her B.A. from
Occidental College and Master's degree from UCLA. |

Raymond
Steiner- Producer-Director
Raymond
Steiner has a strong background as a very “hands on”
creative producer who has consistently been associated with films
that are international success stories. Beginning with the acclaimed
THE CUP and TRAVELLERS AND MAGICIANS (dir. Kyentse Norbu) and his
recent project MILAREPA (dir. Neten Chokling), Raymond’s films
have consistently been selected for major film festivals (Cannes,
Toronto, Venice, Berlin) and gone on to international theatrical
distribution.
Raymond’s
30 year professional background spans films, theatre, design and
publishing in America, Australia and the subcontinent. Prior to
his recent experience as a producer, some of the productions he
has been involved with include MGM's 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY, Paramount’s
THE ADVENTURERS, and Fox’s FERNGULLY: THE LAST RAINFOREST.

Rafanovic - Producer-Director
R.O.
(Rick) Rafanovic has been active in the entertainment/media business
for over 20 years. Rick performed publicity and development work
for Alan Landsburg Productions (ADAM) and 20th Century Fox (PREDATOR),
and has done extensive freelance production work for independent
features (THE SCORE, SOCIETY, NIGHTWISH, IN THE LINE OF FIRE) -
all while directing his own films (LA BREA WOMAN, THE ROBBERS).
His short films, commercials, and other projects have been in over
100 festivals and garnered several awards and honors such as finalist
for the Dore Schary Humanitarian Award, contender for Best Narrative
Short for Oscar consideration, WAVE award for television production
to name a few. His cable series work includes CHAPLIN CALVACADE
(Producer-Director) and THE BODYMAN (Producer-Director) as well
as numerous segments for CNN Headline News. |

| Gary
Lindsay - Producer-Director
Gary
Lindsay has over 20 years of experience as a filmmaker, photographer
and technology consultant. He has directed, photographed, and edited
over 25 short films, and served as a director, location manager,
production coordinator and 1st assistant cameraman on a variety
of feature film and television productions. He has worked on feature
films such as ECHO PARK (producer Walter Shenson HARD DAYS NIGHT)
and STAR WARS (directed by George Lucas). He is also a master photographer
with vast experience in both still and motion picture photography.
Gary
was co-producer, cinematographer, and editor for Don Thompson's
feature film CLOUDS. Gary shepherded the entire project from conception
through post-production. He has authored numerous screenplays including
CHILDREN'S WARD and SHOOTERS.
Gary
has received B.A. degreets in Film Production from San Francisco
State University and the USC School of Cinema/Television, completed
the Master's Program in Communication Management at The Annenburg
School for Communication, and is currently completing his Ph.D.
at The Union Institute. |

| John
Thompson - Webmaster
John Thompson has over 15 years of experience in high tech fields.
The bulk of his career has been as a Database Analyst and System
Architect for many New York Financial Institutions including Morgan
Stanley Dean Witter, Salomon Smith Barney, Reuters and the Securities
Information Automation Corporation. In his capacity as an independent
technology consultant, John has been responsible for the development
of diverse information systems of all sizes on a variety of system
platforms.
John
also has a long-standing interest in entertainment, as an actor,
director and writer. He has directed productions of BUTLEY by Simon
Grey, DOGG'S HAMLET by Tom Stoppard and collaborated with Don Thompson
on productions of DUNE MESSIAH and TIBET DOES NOT EXIST. As an actor,
he has been in several theatrical productions, with a preference
for comedies and musicals. |
